Vote NO on Proposition 8!

First of all, let me make it clear that I don't hate straight people and I'm not heterophobic or anything like that. I have a number of straight people in my family. But like many decent people, I'm very concerned with the pushing of the straight agenda on our society. It seems like everywhere you turn you're bombarded by the media telling you that you should accept this kind of behavior. I really don't care if you're straight, just don't push it in my face. I mean, you look at the tabloids and all you'll see are pictures of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt holding their baby. That's sending a message that heterosexual behavior is okay. What if kids see those pictures? I don't want to explain to my kids why a man and a woman are out holding hands in broad daylight! They'll be too young to understand and it might confuse them. But it's well-known that heterosexuals target children. And what if they read Harry Potter? Which I thought was good book with a decent plot. But then I found out that at the end of the book all the characters get married...to the opposite sex! I know some people may not agree with me, but in my religion it's a sin to marry the opposite sex. I just don't want my kids to turn straight. I don't want them getting a girl pregnant or getting pregnant or catching AIDS. Straight activists like to say that "AIDS isn't a straight disease" even though 90 percent of AIDS cases are in heterosexuals. It's not hate to point that out, it's just a fact. I think there should be a law that denies them the right to marry. By the way, I'm not heterophobic.

10:32 AM 3/5/09 · Hopefully, things will go well in the courts and Prop 8 will either be overturned of viewed as never having any legal basis. However, we can not nexessarily depend on that and thus should consider other means to reverse this travesty.

Ninja have such a bad rep but they are awfully handy...

...and, if you didn't already know, ninja are like sheep. Both singular and plural.

Just saying.

We have the ninja infiltrate every location where the actual documents for Proposition 8 are located. They remove any and all paperwork relating to it and then slip out. Not just to secure it but also to destroy it all at a more ideal location.

We also employ cyber·ninja. What? Ninja can't have hackers?? They access all documentation stored online or on any network they can access that is in anyway connected to an online source. A few thorough deletions or kill switches that make harddrives melt and that's another bit of proof it existed gone.

Sure, people will remember but that hardly matters. Tom Cruise used a quote in a movie that went along the lines of "It doesn't matter what I know. It only matters what I can prove." Had a lot of fun using that to promote an interesting line of thought in a number of religious communities a couple weeks back.

So, people can know Prop 8 passed and went into effect...but without any actual proof it can't hold up in court.

Ninja rule!

oh the weather outside was frightful8:34 PM 12/10/08 · Tuesday night I taped The Daily Show because I was a little distracted watching The Dark Knight, which I'd just bought. I'm just watching it now and John's interviewing Governor Mike Huckabee. It's a two part interview and the first part was kinda boring...

...and the 2nd ½ is all about Gay Marriage!

Much as KevinniveK gives me a hard time for watching this program, and The Colbert Report, there are some real gems in this segment.

If you wanna see the 1st part you're gonna have to go find it yourself!

A Catholic View to Prop H8 [Dec. 8th, 2008|06:45 pm]
Vote NO on Proposition 8!

nightfall_wolf

Hello, I am new to this community - I'm from Los Angeles. Even though I'm not old enough to vote ((14, y'see)), my family and I supported NO on Prop H8. Then, again, everyone in this community has. But what makes my family a rarity among people of our congregation is that we are also Roman Catholics.

Now, I sometimes see Prop H8 through a religious perspective. Many of the arguments for Prop 8 are from the Book of Leviticus and much of the Old Testament. See, the problem with that is in the OT, slavery was also allowed, you couldn't eat shellfish, and animal sacrificing was allowed. So, of course, those things being allowed aren't good. In fact, that line in the Bible allowing slavery was also the main argument for slavery in America. "But it says so in the Bible!" "It's God's Word!" Well, America stamped that argument out, and I'm sure proud of it.

I've also noticed that the support comes from mainly the CHRISTIAN side. ((And I feel ashamed for it to come from my people.)) Please, just because your relgion says something doesn't mean the law has to bend in that direction. After all, last time I checked there is such thing as a Separation of Church and State.

And yet, we all seem to forget that one line from Jesus:

"Do unto others as you would have others done unto you."

So, that's me. I hope I helped the LGBT community with that post. Thank you for your time.
